We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Team Leader - Operations to oversee and enhance the performance of our Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) team, dedicated to Talent & Learning Solutions Sales. This leadership role will be integral to steering the team towards achieving sales excellence by optimizing processes, coaching for peak performance, and ensuring the successful execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a sales team, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the daily operations of the ISR team, ensuring strategic alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Monitor and drive the full sales cycle operations, ensuring the team adheres to best practices in prospecting, qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Coach and mentor ISRs in sales techniques, product knowledge, and market insights to empower them to meet their sales goals.
  • Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations to drive accountability and progress.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying training needs and implementing development programs.
  • Ensure the team's adherence to sales processes and CRM practices for optimal pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
  • Facilitate collaboration between sales, technical teams, and other departments.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, providing regular reports to senior management on sales outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Lead by example in managing a portfolio of high-priority accounts, demonstrating best practices in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Establish and nurture a sales culture of success, accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a team lead or management role in the technology-based hiring and learning solutions sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire confidence and respect at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
