Job Summary

Our client, as a US based retirement provider, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development. The ideal candidate should have a Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Developer II certification, a thorough understanding of governor limits, and experience writing code on the Salesforce platform. They should also have a strong understanding of Lightning Framework, Salesforce security concepts, microservices, SOA, and integration features such as future methods, callouts, batch and scheduled apex, Platform Events, REST and SOAP APIs. The candidate should also have hands-on experience writing Apex code, triggers, Lightning Web Components, HTML, and Javascript, and knowledge of Salesforce development best practices.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Salesforce development projects.
  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, HTML, and Javascript.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement Salesforce solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure the highest level of data quality and data integrity across Salesforce applications.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of Salesforce applications.
  • Work with end-users to train and support Salesforce applications.
  • Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce features and best practices.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or similar role with a focus on Salesforce development.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Developer II certification.
  • Thorough understanding of governor limits.
  • Experience writing code on the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience with Lightning Framework.
  • Thorough understanding of Salesforce security concepts.
  • Thorough understanding of microservices, SOA, etc.
  • Experience working with integration features such as future methods, callouts, batch and scheduled apex, Platform Events, REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Hands-on experience writing Apex code, triggers, Lightning Web Components, HTML, and Javascript.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce development best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
