Company: Principal Financial Group Role: Mid-Level Software Engineer (4045) Location:  Remote. they must be in the United States and work Central Time. Duration: 3/18/2024 - 9/18/2024 – potential to extend   Rate: $54/hr C2C – no flex. Position overview: Engineers will be placed on the Agile product team working close to our customer experiences. Technologies used in this role: 1. Salesforce 2. AWS 3. Traditional on-prem Java Daily responsibilities: 1. Primary focus will be in developing in a Salesforce environment using Apex and LWC (Lightning web components). 2. Developing Angular and/or React based applications. These applications are powered by Java Spring Boot APIs that will also need attention. 3. Attending a daily stand up and working alongside a small team (up to 6) of other engineers to support and enhance our customer facing web applications. Qualifications: 1. 5+ years of Salesforce Admin & Development (Apex/LWC) experience 2. 5+ years of Java experience 3. 5+ years of AWS experience 4. 5+ years of Angular and/or React (along with proficiency with Typescript/JavaScript) 5. 5+ years of Spring Boot Framework experience 6. Strong understanding and practice of automated testing
