Salesforce Lead Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Lead Developer to spearhead custom Salesforce applications and integrations with legacy applications. With 6+ years of hands-on experience and a passion for innovative solutions, you will lead a team of developers and testers, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive the successful implementation of custom Salesforce applications.
Responsibilities:
o Design, develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications utilizing Apex, LWCs, Flows, Visualforce, Aura, metadata, process automation, batch jobs and Salesforce communities.
o Design and implement robust integrations between Salesforce and legacy applications in both synchronous and asynchronous modes.
o Utilize various integration tools and APIs (Mulesoft, Boomi, etc. and Salesforce API) to achieve seamless data exchange.
o Implement appropriate security controls (authentication, authorization, encryption, data masking, logging, monitoring) to protect data in transit and at rest.
o Lead a team of onsite and offshore developers and testers through the entire development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
o Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
o Break down complex projects into manageable tasks and prioritize development efforts.
o Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
o Showcase technical solutions with proof-of-concept demonstrations.
o Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders, product owners, and team members, both onsite and offshore.
o Translate business requirements into technical specifications and effectively manage expectations.
o Participate in agile development ceremonies and contribute actively to team discussions.
o Familiarity with business rules engines (BRMS) is a plus.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (strongly preferred).
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing Salesforce integrations.
• Mastery of Apex, LWCs, Flows, and other key Salesforce development technologies.
• Experience with various integration tools and API development.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both onsite and offshore.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• At least two relevant Salesforce certifications (PDII, Advanced Admin, App Builder, Integration Architect).
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
