Job Description

The Salesforce Solution Architect plays an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of our technology strategy and processes. The architect partners with business and technology groups to ensure alignment of technology solutions with the company's strategic objectives.

This role is based in Milwaukee and will report to Director - IT

Your Responsibilities
 

  • Provides cross-product/cross-technology expertise to capability teams, provides input on and evaluates solution design and is consulted during release planning (e.g., standards for database design; determination of primary keys, etc).
  • Develop policies and guidelines to ensure that a consistent technology framework is applied across the company, maintains awareness and visibility of organizational best practices.
  • Partner with IT and business leaders to act as an advisor to strategic planning efforts in consideration of organizational priority and vision.
  • Help business leaders clarify their objectives and expectations for advancing digital experience investment(s).
  • Engage with the business and teams during brainstorming and design, guide technology selection, develop architectural artifacts in partnership with lead engineer and dev team(s) and ensure compliance with security, identity and access management, Enterprise Architecture, etc.
  • Introduce and accelerate new technologies and methodologies to support digital transformation.
  • Bring a customer experience lens to IT strategy.
  • Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate our requirements into technological solutions.
  • Assess the current IT environment and develop a future state IT architecture in partnership with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Support the design and modeling of tactical architectures to develop projects.
  • Support the design and management of reference architectures.
  • Partner with other solution architects to provide secure, scalable and architectural solutions.
  • Promote the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve information flows.
     

The Essentials - You Will Have
 

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required..
     

The Preferred - You Might Also Have
 

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of experience implementing Salesforce.
  • Experience with Service Cloud and the complimentary modules.
  • Experience with large enterprise and global Case Management implementation.
  • Experience with GenAI/Einstein.
  • Implement technical best practices for various dev team roles.
  • Experience building strategic technology plans and roadmaps.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and systems engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of architectural design frameworks, integration frameworks and patterns.
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies.
  • Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions.
