Description

SAM Analyst 

·        Add and edit CI’s within the CMDB to show the current position of items within the client estate

·         Create and maintain relationships between CI’s to show dependencies, build out Service maps and support functions in understanding how the client estates are constructed
 

·         Maintain Discovery schedules to ensure client has full coverage at all times
 

·         Ensure discovered data is accurate and complete across all CI types
 

·         Own and manage a manual process for non-Discoverable items, for example any form of mobile device
 

·         Run a process to ensure the health of data in the CMDB, maintaining a culture of identifying and resolving issues before any customer impact
 

·         Work with the SAM team to replicate elements of Software Asset Management within the CMDB for public IT use
 

·         Work with Service Management to create and manage a Service Catalogue, inclusive of Business Service items
 

·         Work with stakeholders on a Service Improvement Programme
 

·         ServiceNow experience required.
