SAP Analytics Cloud System Engineer

Understand SAC upgrades and updates, this includes assessing the impact to Lilly’s use of SAC, coordinating regression testing, and ensuring that customizations and configurations are not impacted.
Become a technical subject matter expert of SAC and support the development of evolving global design in Planning, Forecasting and Reporting (PFR) as it relates to SAC functionality.
Partner with IT Business Process Architects and Business Partners to support future state business processes and technologies to accomplish short, and long-term business goals.
Work with key business partners and other IT business process consultants to identify business problems and evolve the global solution, using SAC to meet the business needs most effectively.
Work with business process owners, other functional Business Integrators, as well as Enterprise Architecture groups on cross functional issues. Act as a liaison between IT and business partners on projects.
Liaise back with software vendor on support escalations

Skills And Experience:

Proven experience in designing and writing reports using SAP Analytics Cloud, demonstrated by the;
ability to understand SAP Analytics Cloud dashboarding and reporting requirements and convert functional requirements into technical design and build components.
ability to produce professional dashboards, charting, and linking with the SAC Analyses for Office, whilst understanding BW data models .
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the university to gather requirements and understand reporting needs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, CDO and other departments, to align reporting initiatives with organizational objectives.
Financial analysis skills to gather and interpret requirements from various stakeholders with the ability to bring user reporting requirements to life.
Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports using SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
Create and maintain data models that support various reporting requirements and integrate data from multiple sources into SAP Analytics Cloud.
Develop clear and meaningful data visualizations that facilitate effective analysis and decision-making.
Apply best practices in data visualization to present data in an understandable and insightful manner.
Ability to carry out data reconciliation activities with ease and accuracy 
Ensure data integrity and quality in the reports by validating and verifying data sources, transformations, and calculations.
Adhere to data governance standards and guidelines to maintain consistent and accurate reporting.
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment, address user queries and troubleshoot issues related to reports and dashboards.
Ability to optimize and troubleshoot the performance of SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards.
Understand SAP Analytics Cloud Planning features for BPC hybrid models and pure planning in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Familiar with SAP Analytics Cloud releases and features roadmap.
Some knowledge of S/4 Embedded Analytics, SAP BW Standard Content.
Desirable

Skills And Experience:

Familiarity with financial reporting processes and standards.
An experienced SAP Advocate, with a strong technical understanding of SAP reporting and planning tools best practices.
Evidence of writing SAP Analytics Cloud reports within a higher education context.
Relevant certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud or related areas are advantageous
Good Understanding of SAP data structures, End-to-end dataflow, SAC predictive capabilities, augmented analytics, forecasting, etc.
