SAP Basis Consultant

• Monitor application and database performance using the available tools and system commands, and modifying tuning parameters as appropriate.
• Work with SAP analysts and users in troubleshooting problems
• Maintain historical performance data for trends analysis and capacity planning.
• Participate in SAP system audits. Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises.
• Work with the IT team on the proper use of Clients and Transports.
• Interact with development teams, configuration teams, various technical support teams, and business collaborators to optimize and maintain the overall SAP reliability, availability, and performance.
• Provide technical support and administration of transport management, batch management, system processes, and production support for SAP environment in conjunction with relevant third parties.
• Add-ins installations for SAP systems
• Assists with the installation, configuration, and maintenance, including upgrades, patch management, and system refreshes.
• Assist with the maintenance of SAP user IDs and access rights assigned to IDs.
• Maintain access rights and profits as required to support the computer security policies.
• Assist with the administration and maintenance of security across all SAP Systems and applications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Assist with SAP Archiving activities
• Ability to learn about and support SAP-related 3rd party software such as Vertex, Loftware, and others as it is integrated with SAP.
• Participate in the SAP system maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a structured methodology.
