SAP Basis & HANA Administrator

You Are:

UST is searching for a SAP BASIS & HANA Administrator with 7+ years of experience as an SAP HANA Administrator administering SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes. Develop and deliver on a BI/reporting strategy based on Native HANA/HANA Live that supports future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio.

The Opportunity:

• Create and enhance new/existing Native HANA models, views and BOBJ reports and dashboards to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities and IT standards.
• HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
• Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory
• Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system
• Develop and deliver on a BI/reporting strategy based on Native HANA/HANA Live that supports future-state goals while optimizing current service portfolio
• Create and enhance new/existing Native HANA models, views and BOBJ reports and dashboards to meet business needs and in accordance with business priorities and IT standards
• Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
• HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
• SAP BusinessObjects and HANA integration, Design document, RFPs, and estimation plans.
• Troubleshooting the issues from OS level like work process monitoring, checking logs, checking OSS notes, provide Performance analysis and suggest solution to write the Root Cause Analysis
• Write Operational procedures
• Create Customer standard documentation
• Provide On-call support during weekday and weekends as per the schedule
• Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
• Elaboration of SAP release plan
• Performance optimization and tuning: deep experience with SQL traces to achieve Performance Impact Analysis
• Early Watch configuration and analysis.
• Transport Management
• Automation of SAP basis tasks through different development and scripting approaches

What you need:

• Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
• Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations (SA
• HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling
• SAP BusinessObjects and HANA integration, Design document, RFPs, and estimation plans
• Experience with high availability and backup mechanism
• Strong knowledge of SLT methodologies and replication techniques
• Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks: technical planning, installations and configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router…), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates. familiar with BRTOOLS for Space management.
• Hands on experience of implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions.
• Applying Support Package, Kernel patch upgrade, TMS configuration and Transport administration (Transport strategy), maintaining of operation modes and profile parameters, background job management.
• Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery.
• Mastery of the HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
• Experience and deep knowledge of SAP system migration (DMO tool) and upgrades.
• Strong SQL scripting knowledge, creating Stored procedures, troubleshooting performance issue optimization of the code.
• Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quick sizer.
• Experience in SAP data Archiving.
• Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems.
• Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system
• Hardware, operating systems (LINUX) and networking connectivity required for the SAP environment
• Deep knowledge of SAP HANA in-Memory Platform core technology, including architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and system integration
• Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems
• HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio
• Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system
• Certification in SAP S/4 HANA and OS/DB Migration will be a plus
• SAP BASIS/NetWeaver certification is a plus
• SAP Fiori knowledge is highly desirable
• Skills on Linux is required
• Strong SAP Basis experience in Data Archiving and Content Server Strategies Desired profile – SAP BASIS & HANA Administrator Demonstrated through 7+ years of experience as an SAP HANA Administrator administering SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes
• Experience with high availability and backup mechanism.
• Strong knowledge of SLT methodologies and replication techniques.
• Experience in system refresh tasks, Client copies (local client copy, client export, client import)
