Job Description
AP API Integration from a co-packer system. This API will Send production orders, bills, material, etc. and they think API is a better option than EDI. Nulogy is not needed but it’s a home run, any 3rd party integration system is what we need. CPG Industry
- Scope document from Nulogy, they will be closely involved as well to handle things on SPG’s end
- Assuming we will need to work with the SI as well on certain things
- Five general business areas to be addressed
- Master data integration
- Purchase orders and receiving at SPG/manufacturing order
- Production at SPG – consumption of materials, send quantities and lots back
- Shipping out of SPG – back to FG DC.
- Inventory reconciliation – daily comparison
- Currently as many as 21 api’s/communications have been identified. Best guess is only 17 will ultimately be needed
- Each api will require at an enhancement to either trigger the outbound payload or process the inbound payload
- Nulogy (MES at the CoMan) is working on a Statement of Work to present SPG. Until that is complete, their estimate is about 5 - 6 months from when they start to when they could be live in production.

- API and enhancement development can be in parallel, testing will require completion of both
- Different developers can be working on different objects (parallel developments can be happening)
