SAP MDG Functional Consultant

Position Overview: The SAP MDG Functional Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP MDG and deep knowledge of the FI (Financial Accounting), EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), MM (Materials Management), and BP (Business Partner) modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Must have thorough understanding of standard SAP functionalities.
• Configure and customize SAP MDG modules (FI, EAM, MM, BP) to meet business needs.
• Experience with SAP/Non-SAP integrations with MDG.
• Hands on experience with configurations, UI Customizations, Data Model enhancement, APIs, workflows.
• Experience of Validations and Derivations using BRF rules.
• Knowledge of ALE IDoc, Distribution Model, Partner Profile, Serialization and Error handling processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and working with technical team to complete WRICEF object development and testing.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of the implemented solutions.
• Provide expert guidance and support during the deployment and post-implementation phases.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and key stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP MDG modules.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP MDG trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an SAP MDG Functional Consultant.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MDG and its integration with FI, EAM, MM, and BP modules.
• Proven experience in configuring and customizing SAP MDG solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SAP certification in MDG or related modules is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of data governance and data management principles.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5.
