Overview

The SAP S/4 HANA Consultant specializing in Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP plays a crucial role in our organization, ensuring the effective implementation and management of our SAP S/4 HANA systems. As a pivotal member of our IT team, the consultant will leverage their expertise in developing and optimizing custom applications, data models, and reports to support business processes. This position is vital for enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring data integrity throughout our SAP landscape. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, providing valuable insights that drive strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain SAP S/4 HANA applications using ABAP and CDS.
Develop and optimize data models and reports based on business needs.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Perform system configuration and customization to meet client specifications.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of SAP applications to ensure functionality.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users.
Evaluate current system processes and make recommendations for improvements.
Write, maintain, and review technical documentation for all custom developments.
Integrate SAP S/4 HANA with other systems and platforms.
Stay up-to-date with SAP S/4 HANA version releases and enhancements.
Assist in data migration and system upgrades.
Facilitate workshops for users to understand the new functionalities and applications.
Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively.
Work with the project management team to ensure project timelines are met.
Adhere to best practices and design patterns in SAP development.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an SAP S/4 HANA consultant with expertise in ABAP and CDS.
Strong understanding of SAP modules and functionalities.
Knowledge of database concepts and data modeling.
Experience in system integration and data migration projects.
Proficiency in performance tuning and debugging ABAP applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Project management certification is a plus.
Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UX design principles is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and solutions.
Relevant SAP certifications in S/4 HANA are desirable.
