SAP Systems Analyst

Responsibilities: 

• Develops applications; implements software packages, integrates applications, and provides 24x7 application support.
• Collaborates on all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) with a focus on the application design, development, and implementation phases.
• Utilizes appropriate development tools and technologies in keeping with the IT architecture.
• Develops software of limited complexity based on specifications provided.
• Implements software packages for which limited configuration and integration is required with minimal vendor contact.
• Integrates applications where the complexity of interfaces is limited and based on specifications provided.
• Provides 24x7 primary support for one or more applications typically classified as niche or core, but not mission-critical. May provide secondary support for mission-critical applications.
• Supports the request and analysis phases of SDLC by assisting with documentation and estimates
• Executes the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC by producing the prescribed deliverables under the guidance of more senior staff.
• Participates on an Application Development and Support team as well as project teams under the direction of their manager, senior team members, or project managers.
• Acquires and maintains knowledge of business areas relevant to projects and application support assignments.

Required Skills : - Bachelor s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent discipline - 1 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development. In lieu - Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies; Stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies - Good verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills - Understands project plans and is able to clearly articulate their role, project goals, and timelines - Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite - Comprehends technical design specifications and possesses knowledge of development tools and technologies in support of the Information Technology Architecture - C# Programming to the OpenText API would be a very nice to have - Development experience in Opentext Exstream is an added advantage Technical Skills Needed for Focus: - OpenText Archiving and Doc Access for SAP - OpenText Archive Center - OpenText Content Server - OpenText Capture Center - OpenText Enterprise Scan - OpenText Web Viewer - OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP - Intelligent Capture Center - OpenText Directory Services
