Overview

The SAP UI5 Consultant plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing user-friendly interfaces for SAP applications. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient utilization of SAP software.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into intuitive user interface designs
Design, develop, and customize SAP UI5 applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Implement responsive UI design principles to create a consistent experience across various devices
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement of user interfaces
Integrate SAP UI5 applications with backend systems and ensure seamless data flow
Provide technical expertise and guidance for UI/UX best practices in SAP environments
Optimize performance of UI5 applications and troubleshoot any UI-related issues
Stay updated with the latest SAP UI5 technology trends and incorporate best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
Train end users and provide support for SAP UI5 applications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience in designing and developing SAP UI5 applications
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for UI development
Familiarity with SAP Fiori design principles and guidelines
Strong understanding of UI/UX design concepts and best practices
Experience in integrating UI5 applications with SAP backend systems
Knowledge of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot UI issues
Good understanding of SAP business processes and workflows
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
Certification in SAP UI5 development is a plus
Ability to adapt to evolving technology and quickly learn new concepts
Experience with Agile development methodologies is desirable
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
