Required Skills

 

• 6+ years of experience supporting multi-terabyte SAS environments that are enterprise wide and serve multiple business units.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design and data warehouse best practices
• Expert SQL skills, Oracle, MySQL, Teradata
• Expert knowledge of SAS analytic capabilities that include statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modelling, and data mining.
• Good understanding of systems, networking, and storage
• Experience installing SAS software and patches in UNIX environment SAS Administrator Examples
  
   

Roles And Responsibilities

 

• Overall responsibility for the effective operation of the SAS Analytics Environment
• Responsible for the maintenance of in-place programs Manage all SAS product installations and upgrades.
• Configure SAS products and SAS output channels Research and make recommendations on hardware and SAS software Investigate, escalate, and resolve all SAS production support incidents in accordance with the Production Support Process
• Maintain and execute disaster recovery procedures as needed.
