SCCM Engineer

Walmart's Health & Wellness division is looking for an SCCM Engineer to join their growing team. The main goal of this team is to deliver top-tier installations for every application. Currently, they go to the clinic and someone manually installs each medical application on the PC and connects it to the clinical devices. It currently takes hours for each install, and no two are the same. They need to mature their process to have applications installed and documented. Once that's completed, this person will perform silent installs or image snapping to help speed up their process and make everything uniform throughout the environment.

This person will have a computer that connects to a medical device (X-Ray machine, EKG, dental device, lab device, etc.) and they'll be responsible for working with the vendor to make sure that the application can install to the medical device within Walmart's compliance standards. These are complex implementations which include working heavy work with SCCM or Intune. Once the application is built and packaged, it will be handed off to the testing team for validation. This team works in 2-3 week sprints, and there is a lot of growth opportunity within this team since it's a brand new team.
