Your role and responsibilities

As a member of the CIAM team, focused on authentication, this position will be part of a squad whose mission is to migrate from our legacy authentication to a 3rd party Cloud based tech stack.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Product Owner and Business Analyst to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints, develop release plans and organize backlog items into priority groups
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies
• Ensure that the appropriate Agile metrics and artefacts are produced and communicated to enable the team and product owner to make informed decisions
• Work with teams to ensure that new products, features or services are delivered to the appropriate levels of quality within the agreed sprint cycles
• Removes barrier and resolves impediments
• Shields the team from external interferences if need be
• Ability to track and remove impediments for the team as quickly as possible
• Develop metrics and reports using Rally and Jira to help the team understand its health and progress and to set goals
• Work to improve Squads overall Agile capability and foster Agile knowledge
• Agile release planning and slotting
• Manage the technical interdependencies between multiple projects and stakeholder groups
• Be a champion of continuous improvement

Requirements for this position:

• Bachelors Degree in business, computer science or engineering
• 10+ years Scrum Master experience
• Hands on experience with Jira as SM
• Understanding of broader Agile and DevOps models
• Cloud experience a plus
• Experience with Rally Enterprise Software a plus
• Knowledge of the banking/financial services industry is a plus
• Knowledge of Information Security/Identity Management is a plus
