Job Description: Scrum Master/Project Manager for GenAI

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master/Project Manager to lead the Generative AI (GenAI) project with our client. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical counterpart to the AI Director, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of key GenAI initiatives. This person will be instrumental in managing cross-functionalteams, driving agile methodologies, and ensuring alignment between strategic AI goals andproject execution.

The role requires strong project management and scrum expertise, coupled with a deep understanding of AI technologies and applications, particularly in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments. Experience from management consulting firms like McKinsey, BCG, or Bain is highly desirable to bring a structured problem-solving and results-oriented approach to the project.

Key Responsibilities:

 Project Leadership: Serve as the primary Tech project lead, working in close

collaboration with AI Director to ensure all project milestones are met on

time, within scope, and on budget.

 Agile Implementation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and

retrospectives, ensuring the team adheres to agile principles while driving delivery.

 Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for both internal and external

stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication between AI leadership

and the Tech development team.

 Team Management: Oversee cross-functional teams, including developers, data

scientists, AI engineers, and business analysts, ensuring collaboration and high-quality

delivery.

 Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring alignment with

both technical and business objectives.

 Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging

agile metrics to optimize project outcomes, team performance, and stakeholder

satisfaction.

Must-Have Skills:

1. Experience in AI/GenAI Projects: Deep understanding of Generative AI architectures,

frameworks (e.g., Azure, OpenAI), and deployment models.

2. Agile Methodology Expertise: Proven track record of leading Agile projects in fast-

paced environments. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management

Professional (PMP).

3. Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Exceptional leadership skills with

experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-

functional teams.

4. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both

technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

5. Risk Management: Expertise in identifying and managing risks in technology and AI

projects, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.

Good-to-Have Skills:

1. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of DevOps practices, Azure DevOps,

containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.

2. AI Operations: Familiarity with LLMOps, including model governance, monitoring, and

retraining processes.

3. Change Management: Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation

projects, particularly in AI and machine learning domains.

4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use agile metrics and data analytics to inform

decisions and improve processes.

5. Experience in Manufacturing or Industrial Contexts: Experience with AI use cases

specific to manufacturing industries (e.g., predictive maintenance, digital twin

technologies, or autonomous systems).
