What We Expect From You

Academic Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Computer Science or IT with 60% and above
3 to 5 years of experience with
Solid understanding of QA process and QA methodologies.
Good understanding on the role of automated testing within the software development lifecycle
Experience in automation testing tools and frameworks (BDD)
Experience in automating testing efforts for Web applications, Mobile applications and Services/APIs
Professional or academic experience coding in JavaScript / NodeJs
Hands-on experience with Cypress or similar Front end automation testing frameworks.
Testing web applications for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues
Experience/knowledge in mobile automation testing with Appium
Hands on experience with Selenium
Expertise using JMeter, Postman, or similar HTTP test clients
Clear understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services
Good exposure to Continuous Integration tools,defect tracking tools(preferably JIRA), Agile methodology, source control systems like git / bitbucket / Github
Participate in reviewing functional, technical requirements and test plans and provide inputs to the functional test team on the scope of testing.
Prepare Test Plans, Test cases, execute and publish results.
Perform smoke testing, functional testing, regression, performance testing on the software product.
Implement processes and methods that result in faster and efficient QA cycles.
Provide the project test status, estimates and metrics derived from testing
Fluent written and spoken English
Excellent teamwork skills but also being able to work independently
Mentor juniors & other development team members and take ownership of features
Initiative by nature and willingness to work with cross located teams, occasionally also at irregular hours
Enthusiasm for keeping up to date with latest QA automation technologies
