Salesforce CPQ Developer + DevOps Engineer
Must Have Skills
5+ total years of hands-on experience in Salesforce CPQ development with at least 2+ years working with COPADO deployments and DevOps/release management, with an understanding of CI/CD processes, integration concepts in an enterprise IT software development environment.
Salesforce Development Lifecycle: Familiarity with the Salesforce development lifecycle, including CPQ, sandboxes, change sets, metadata deployment, and version control.
Copado Expertise: Proficiency in working with the Copado platform, including configuring and managing Copado components such as pipelines, user stories, user story tasks, user story tests, and promotion processes.
Deployment Automation: Strong understanding of deployment automation concepts and tools, including experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows and related tools such as Jenkins or GitLab. Experience working with overlapping product release cycles.
Source Control and Versioning: Experience with source control systems like Git or SVN, and understanding of versioning concepts, branching strategies, and code merging.
troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues effectively. Experience in managing deployment errors, conflicts, and environment-specific challenges.
Experience with back promotion on wide scale development pipeline with 40 plus developer sandboxes
Perform administration tasks as needed related to SFDC to support releases and deployments.
Provide technical expertise and support for CPQ-related issues and enhancements.
Participate in end-to-end Salesforce CPQ implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
Create and maintain documentation related to CPQ configurations, customizations, and best practices.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to design and implement scalable and automated CI/CD pipelines using Copado.
Implement best practices for version control, branching strategies, and release strategies within Copado for Salesforce applications.
Training users on Copado features and creating training materials.
Certifications: Relevant Copado certifications, such as Copado fundamental-I, Copado fundamental-II or Salesforce Certified Deployment Specialist, are highly desirable and demonstrate a strong foundation in Salesforce technologies and best practices.
