Security Engineer

Job Details

Calling on all Security Engineers. There is a position available at a global manufacturing company. This is a large company working to serve surrounding communities through the innovation and provision of quality products. They are looking to fill this role with someone who can handle the hands-on side of cybersecurity alongside taking on a leadership role. This includes an in-depth knowledge of tools, implementations, controls, and the ability to explain the details of configuration.

This is a remote position for those in the EST. This Security Engineer position will be involved with company-wide projects, implementing security standards, defining security requirements, and ensuring guidance for IR. The candidate will be leading the VM program alongside working with the patching team to limit vulnerabilities. In this position, the candidate will be or become the lead SME for various security tools including CASB and EPP.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience running security solutions on netsec/engineering programs.
• Knowledge of IT security controls, i.e. Firewalls and SIEM platforms, authentication, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft OS
• Experience with cloud security solutions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of VM and IR protocols.
