This Security Engineer will be responsible for incorporating operational and compliance monitoring of security controls and policies, review of security logs, reconciling security events, escalation of security violations, risk assessment and risk management principles. The Security Engineer will have in-depth knowledge and experience in network security and compliance, as well as a strong technical knowledge of software development and operation processes and technologies. You will be joining a team of security professionals expanding across the company to improve the Cybersecurity efforts.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement cyber security best practices and configurations across all physical security technologies on the network
• The technical evaluation and remediation of key vulnerabilities around card credential cloning and other high risks cyber threats related to enterprise IOT security devices
• Facilitation of technology evaluations, patch and firmware management, and vulnerabilities remediation across all technology platforms and applications
• Product visioning and planning with program manager
• Ability to ensure evidence collection methods are conducted, managed, and archived in a manner consistent with provided guidelines, to maintain preservation and protection of data and evidence
• Identifies and recommends areas requiring change or modification
• Performs complex and routine updates for security products
• Handle security incidents and provide high level support with help desk tickets
• Manage the security relationships with in-scope lines of business, customers, suppliers and stakeholders ensuring the integrity of the Security service

Requirements:

• Experience working within an information security role
• GXPN, CEH, or CISSP certification is required
• Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent working experience within the technology/security field.
• Understanding of network and security controls
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessments
• Experience with Penetration Testing
• Knowledge of IOT and physical security platforms is preferred
• Ability to deal with complexity and high-pressure situations and effective decision making
• Excellent communicator, able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly
