Deploy and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure, including provisioning, application delivery, and user profile management.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of the Citrix environment, addressing any issues that arise.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to Active Directory and Citrix components, ensuring minimal impact on end users.
Implement and enforce security measures to protect the Active Directory and Citrix environments, including access controls, authentication, and data integrity.
Provide technical guidance and support to end users, assisting with Active Directory and Citrix-related inquiries and issues.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Active Directory and Citrix technologies, evaluating their potential impact and recommending improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience as an Active Directory and Citrix Engineer, with a focus on managing and optimizing Active Directory infrastructure and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
Manage and troubleshoot Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, SSL offloading, and secure remote access.
Experience in designing, deploying, and managing Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure, including Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Citrix StoreFront, and Citrix Netscaler/ADC.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of the Citrix environment, ensuring optimal user experience.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to Citrix components, such as application delivery, profile management, and user experience.
Implement security best practices and policies to safeguard Citrix infrastructure and data.
Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning to optimize Citrix infrastructure resources.
Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay up to date with the latest Citrix technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our environment and recommending improvements.
Experience with SMTP e-mail relay servers, Microsoft IIS-SMTP service and Microsoft Office 365 or Microsoft Exchange.
Experience with Windows File Sharing technologies – NTFS permissions, DFS Namespace.
Experience or knowledge of Azure File Shares and Azure File Sync technologies.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Experience with Remote Desktop Services, RDS Licensing.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Active Directory and Citrix environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V), or higher, are highly desirable.
