Description

Act as the Vendor Management SME for designated teams to provide expert guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders on vendor selection, contract negotiations, vendor management best practices and implementation of supplier arrangements

Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and service level expectations. Contract Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of vendor contracts aligning with deliverables, terms, Service Level Agreements, etc. to identify risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements

Provide recommendations for contract improvements and negotiate terms where necessary

Approval Management: Support the weekly CIO approvals process by conducting strategic and detailed reviews of approval submissions to ensure alignment to vendor strategies, best practices, and reporting needs. Vendor Performance Monitoring: Support the monitoring of vendor performance metrics to asses performance and identify areas for improvement

Collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions as needed. Documentation: Supports management and implementation of documentation / process controls / knowledge assets required for business operations and audit trails. Strategic Thinking: Contribute to the development of vendor management strategies and initiatives to optimize vendor performance, reduce costs, and mitigate risks
