Senior Application Developer

Apex Systems is supporting a fortune 200 company with a Senior Java Developer position. The Senior Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, integration, implementation, and support of web-based application software in a full-stack environment. The Systems are primarily focused on Java/Oracle.Other areas of involvement may include providing web services to corporate and other departments. Development responsibilities will encompass new logic/features, enhancements, and bug fixes/support.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience

Must Haves

5+ years of IT experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle

Experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements

5+ years Java, ORM/JPA/Hibernate, Web Services, Object-oriented design techniques, and common design patterns

3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures to Oracle databases
