Job Summary:
As a Senior Application Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of banking applications. You will leverage your functional expertise to support users, troubleshoot issues, and enhance application performance, particularly in cash payments, trade, and loans.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support for banking applications, focusing on cash payments, trade, and loans.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand their needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Conduct thorough analysis of application performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Work closely with development teams to communicate user requirements and prioritize enhancements.
Develop and maintain documentation for application support processes and user guides.
Provide training and support to users on application functionalities and features.
Participate in project initiatives to implement new applications or enhance existing ones.
Qualifications:
Minimun 4 years of experience in application support, preferably in the banking sector.
Strong functional knowledge of cash payments, trade finance, and loan processing.
Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving complex application issues.
Experience with SQL and database management is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with banking regulatory requirements and compliance.
Experience with ITIL framework or similar service management methodologies.
