Senior Architect

Job Description:

· Play a key role in the creation of new applications or new IT components
· Be involved from the formulation of needs to the delivery of the solution
· Pay attention to writing and updating support documents
· Carry out a detailed needs analysis and search with the client for suitable solutions by developing the architecture and constantly communicating with multiple partners
· Provide technical expertise in the development, operationalization and improvement of ICT processes, data, applications and services
· Manage the architecture of the project(s) from A to Z, from business case requirements to acceptance testing and delivery
· Use the models and methods necessary to map architectures and support the design of new systems
· Ensure designs are consistent with architectural principles and fit into the overall architecture
· Help Service Managers, Network and System Administrators find solutions to their complex specific problems
· Monitor developments in the field in order to optimally seize new opportunities, taking into account the wishes of the organization
· Active participation in the network of architects and organizational structures that control architectural quality

Technical:

· Have a good knowledge of JAVA application architecture
· Have a good knowledge of Spring boot
· Have knowledge of data architecture
· Have a good knowledge of communication techniques between applications
· Have a very good knowledge of design patterns
· Knowledge of major types of architecture (SOA, microservices, etc.)
· Knowledge of JEE application servers (especially WebLogic)
· Know how to create UML architecture diagrams
· Familiarity with web application interface design
· Be able to analyze a DB2 explain plan and provide solutions
· Able to design a processing process management system on large volumes of data (signals, message driven, batches)
· Being able to interpret the information provided by Dynatrace and/or Instana is a plus
· Business knowledge
· Knowledge of the overall structure of AGD&A within SPF Finances
· Fluent English, passive knowledge of French or Dutch
· Knowledge of European or international exchanges is a plus (Advanced knowledge of XML, XSD and B2B exchanges via CTS/CCN-CSI)
