Senior Azure Administrator

Responsibilities

 

• Implement an enterprise-wide Platform Operations Engineering culture, disseminating best practices and documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex, cross-platform issues in a cloud-based SaaS environment (MS Azure) involving Servers, OS, Virtualization, and Containers.
• Administer and maintain existing Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
• Manage routine system tasks such as updates, backups, availability checks, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with DevOps Team and various departments to ensure system responsiveness to non-functional requirements.
• Apply automation and software to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Enhance current Azure cloud environments and document system knowledge.
• Collaborate with business departments and suppliers to align with ISO 27001 processes and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain infrastructure security through regular mitigation and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Participate in the analysis and management of infrastructure and Cloud service performance.
  
   

Requirements

 

• Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions (Compute, Storage, Network, and Security).
• Demonstrable experience in Python, Azure Cloud Platform, Linux, and Windows.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible).
• Extensive experience supporting/managing hypervisor-based products/infrastructure (VMware).
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in operating and deploying Microsoft Azure Resources.
• Basic programming and scripting skills (preferably Golang, bash, shell, etc.).
• Understanding of Network routing, Load balancing, and Networking protocols.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
• Experience with SRE & Agile methodologies.
• B. Tech./B.E. degree in Electronics & Telecomm or Computer Science.
• Demonstrated understanding of ITIL methodologies, ITIL v3, or v4 certification.
