Senior Azure ETL Developer

**Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parkingthrough VDOT’s Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking
**Contract to be extended beyond 6/30/24, likely by 6-12+ months

VDOT is looking for a Senior Azure ETL developer toingest/transform and load Data Assets and implementation of a cloud-based datamanagement platform that will support the agency. 

This role is expected to take a Sr Developer role withinthe team, to extract business data and load it into a data warehousingenvironment. Design and test the performance of the system. Consult withvarious teams to understand the company’s data storage needs and develop datawarehousing options. Well-versed in warehousing architecture techniques such asMOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, and EDW.

Qualifications- 

Experience in designing, building, and deploying scalableAzure cloud-based data solutions. 

Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure DataFactory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse,and other data sources.

Hands-on experience in SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS),ORACLE, T-SQL, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Datawarehouse

Hands-on experience in deploying and maintaininglarge-scale data processing pipelines.

Hands-on scripting experience with Windows and/or Python,Linux Shell scripting.

Experience in data analysis and provide cloud basedtechnical solutions.

Experience working on both on-prem and cloud-based datasolutions.

Experience in querying and analyzing small and large datasets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights.

Work with data architects, data engineers, businessanalysts, and business teams to provide Azure data driven solutions.

Experience in Azure DevOps, or ContinuousIntegration/Delivery

Well-versed with Agile practices.

Familiarity with C# and .Net is a huge plus.
