We are actively searching for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to significantly contribute to our Knowledge Management System (KMS) project, aimed at enhancing the information infrastructure for a high-profile public sector client. This role demands a blend of skills in gathering, analyzing, and documenting system requirements, with a strong emphasis on utilizing knowledge management software to structure and share the collected information effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an exceptional ability to dissect complex processes, coupled with a talent for communicating insights and collaborating with stakeholders to refine and realize the project's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Execute thorough interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Business Analysts across over 20+ existing client systems. Analyze and interpret data to discern patterns, obstacles, and opportunities, informing the KMS project's direction.
• Documentation in Knowledge Management Software: Utilize advanced knowledge management software to document, organize, and manage information derived from analysis. Ensure that documentation is accessible, accurate, and effectively structured to support knowledge sharing and system development.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage closely with project stakeholders to accurately capture and incorporate their requirements and feedback into the knowledge management system. Organize workshops and meetings to foster stakeholder involvement and consensus.
• Project Support and Quality Assurance: Align closely with the project management team to ensure that project deliverables reflect stakeholder requirements and priorities. Participate in the testing phase to ensure system functionalities meet the documented specifications, assisting in the creation of training materials and user guides.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in projects involving extensive knowledge management or in the public sector.
• Expertise in the use of knowledge management software for documentation and information organization.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in handling and interpreting large data sets.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively liaising between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record in requirements documentation, process mapping, and developing use cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications relevant to Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) and/or Knowledge Management.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
• Experience with specific knowledge management platforms and tools, highlighting any direct experience in implementing or managing such systems.
