Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Consultant

Role Description:

As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for strategic delivery helping our customers securely adopt Google Cloud. As an established trusted advisor, you will span operational, tactical, and strategic levels as well as tasks that tackle difficult problems that businesses are facing when building out and improving their
security posture on Google Cloud. This is an opportunity for you to showcase your strong communication skills and experience in security governance, security risk management, security operations, security architecture, and/or cyber incident response programs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the structuring, planning, and execution of critical security-related engagements with Google Cloud customers.
  • Provide domain expertise in Google Cloud computing security and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Guide on building or maturing cloud security programs and the implementation of tools and approaches used for improving the security of customer Google Cloud.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time in-region for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities, as required

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 8+ years experience in leading projects and delivering technical solutions related to enterprise security
  • 4+ years experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure Google Cloud solutions
  • Strong expertise in the Google Cloud data & analytics security domain, including data lake/data warehouse security controls, data encryption techniques, key management, data masking/tokenisation techniques, data integrity and confidentiality management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to develop high-quality technical documentation and presentation materials

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in security governance, security risk management, security operations, security architecture,and/or cyber incident response programs for cloud.
  • Experience working with cloud architecture across a broad set of enterprise use cases and creating end-to-end solution architectures.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, articulating and influencing skills.
  • Experience with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27017/27018, GDPR, SOC).
  • Experience with Cloudera/Hadoop security capabilities, including authentication/authorization management, encryption management, data access controls and security monitoring/auditing.
