Senior Consultant with HSE applications in the mining domain

Short Description:

In the role of a Senior Consultant, you will be expected to develop and support HSE applications in the mining domain. This role will interface with client and elicit technical requirements, design, develop and support technical components.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Refine requirements based on discussion with client.
• Estimate for managing deliverables based on requirements
• Develop, unit test and support applications using .Net technologies
• Provide production support for COTS applications including incident management, request
• fulfillment, problem management and change management.
• Provide on-call support for priority issues outside of business hours.
• Work with a global team in agile environments.
• Ensure high performance of applications and provide support.

Skills /Competencies:

Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in the IT industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in production support of applications.
• At least 2 years of experience in mining domain specifically in handling HSE applications
• Good knowledge of MS SQL, JQuery, JavaScript
