Senior Data Engineer

About the Role:

Client needs this person to come in take ownership and build out a datalake within an enterprise environment as well as build on/make enhancements to an existing financial database.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Perform maintenance and enhancements on the financial database as required.

Manage various data sources within the organization, adapting to changes in data formats and conducting necessary maintenance on the codebase.

Take leadership in advancing the data platform to enterprise-level standards.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual work associated with data management.

Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years’ experience in data engineering

Proficient in Python and SQL

Experience building a DataLake

Strong design and architecture skills

Integration with multiple sources like Azure

Experience working with financial data - Study, analyze, and understand business requirements in the context of financial analysis

Experience with AWS, BigQuery, Terraform, Python, and PowerBI connectors

Desired Qualifications :

ML experience

AI experience

Location: Remote but will have to work as per EST hours
