Education and Experience »
Experience with Oracle database: 7 Years.
Strong hands-on Experience with PL/SQL: 7 Years
Strong hands-on Experience with SQL: 7 Years.
Experience with data conversion and migrations: 5 Years.
Experience with data analysis and cleansing: 1 Years.
Experience with DB2 database: 2 Years.
Hands on experience in coding, testing and maintaining ETL processes: 7 Years.
Experience with source code repository like Git, BitBucket, SVN: 1 Years.

Highly desired:
Experience with Talend: 1 Years.
Experience with Java: 5 Years.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS and Azure) and associated services for data processing and storage: 1 Years.
Understanding and experience with Child welfare application system.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
One of the primaries focuses of this position is to lead data analysis, mapping, needed transformation and extraction of data from Oracle and DB2 databases to migrate to Salesforce platform for Child welfare program.
The persons in this position will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes to support the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various Child Welfare sources into Salesforce.
The work involves collaborating with various internal and vendor stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into efficient and scalable technical solutions for the Child Welfare program.
This position will also support data archival for management of data growth, data sub-setting to extract criteria-based data and data de-identification to help provide needed data for application validation.
The Senior data engineer will need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The work involves understanding data, relationships among data objects, designing and developing ETL to support these data work streams.
The work also involves monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines/process to ensure data quality, completeness, integrity, and availability
