About the job

Responsibilities:


 

· Design and implement effective data processing architectures, utilizing big data technologies to handle complex data challenges.

· Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and perform data modeling, performance optimization, and integration processes in a cloud environment, primarily using AWS.

· Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to support data features, reports, and analyses.

· Mentor junior data engineers, providing guidance on best practices and continuous learning.

· Assist in the evaluation and integration of new technologies and tools to improve data system efficiency and performance.


 

Mandatory Skills:

· Strong experience with AWS services and understanding of data ecosystems within cloud platforms.

· Proficiency in big data technologies, Python scripting, and SQL.

· Experience with data pipeline tools like AWS Glue and workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.

· Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

· Effective communication skills in English.


 

Nice to Have Skills:

· Familiarity with AWS Lake Formation.

· Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL.

· Understanding of stream-processing systems like Apache Kafka.
