5Y+ years of experience as a Data Engineer on the Snowflake, AWS Stack
Proficiency in SQL and Python

Experience with database design and optimization

Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques

Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake queries

Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and develop scalable and efficient data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.

Manage and optimize Snowflake accounts, including user access, security, and performance tuning.

Monitor system health and proactively address issues to ensure smooth operation.

Implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into Snowflake.

Work closely with data engineers to streamline data pipelines and ensure data quality.

Identify and implement performance optimizations to enhance query efficiency and overall system performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in collaboration with other IT teams.

Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, processes, and configurations.

Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.

Education - Minimum of 15 years of formal education BE/BTech or Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science / Information Technology
