Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners to identify business problems, generate ideas to tackle the problems, test hypothesis through rapid prototyping and stablish target state architecture to achieve business goals.
Define, publish, and communicate data strategy, standards, patterns, reference architectures, frameworks, and roadmaps to enable data sharing across the enterprise.
Partner with other architecture fields to design data solutions with a strong focus on security, scalability, observability and operational excellence.
Apply the latest research and industry trends to build best in class enterprise data solutions for data consumers
Be a hands-on architect.
Build solution prototypes and conduct experiments to evaluate architectural alternatives.
Manage, Govern and promote enterprise data model management practice.
Develop enterprise conceptual, logical and physical data models for batch and streaming architectures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with modeling HR data and Workday required
5+ years with advanced SQL and scripting (python/pyspark) development
2+ Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (databricks/redshift)
5+ years of enterprise data architecture, design patterns, tradeoff analysis and delivery acceleration in cloud-native environments
3+ years of data solutions enabling Analytical, Operational, Data Science and Client data flows
2+ years developing or working with taxonomies/ontologies
Experience working/collaborating with Master Data Management and Data Governance
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
