Immediate, long term contract opportunity for a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer who will responsible for orchestrating, deploying, maintaining and scaling cloud AND/OR on-premise infrastructure targeting big data and platform data management (Relational and NoSQL, distributed and converged) with emphasis on reliability, automation and performance. This role will focus on support new Customer Services projects.

We are seeking candidates with administration/engineering experience within Cloudera and Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Flume, Solr, NiFi, HBase, Hue, Impala, Kafka, Kudu, Oozie, Spark, YARN, ZooKeeper, etc.) along with AWS (S3, RedShift, EC2, Lamda, IAM, DevOps, Replication and disaster recovery) knowledge as well.

Although this position is 100% remote right now, our client does plan to be an onsite organization again in either late 2022, or early 2023. The selected candidate must be available to come onsite once deemed required by our client. The location will be Reston VA.
