Senior Data Modeler

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Modeler to join our team and drive data modeling best practices within the organization.
Location: Atlanta, GA (only Local)
Position Overview: As a Senior Data Modeler, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data architecture and implementing efficient data solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and implement data models across legacy and recent data usage.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Implement relational and dimensional databases.
Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, data administrators, and developers.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative data architecture solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
8+ years in data analytics, data modeling, or data architecture.
Proficiency in data modeling for EDW, Data Lake, and transactional systems.
Experienced with Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehouse Modeling.
Familiarity with data modeling tools like IDERA Data Architect or Erwin.
Strong SQL skills for data access and analysis.
Experience with cloud-based databases and Azure/Fabric.
Certifications in Microsoft Fabric are a plus.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
