Job Title: DB2 DBA
Location: Tallahassee, FL (hybrid-3 days onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract
Job Overview:

The DB2 DBA will be responsible for conducting database planning and operational activities, with a focus on DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, Oracle, and GIS databases. Key responsibilities include daily operational tasks, database administration, database structure planning and implementation, performance monitoring and tuning, SQL code reviews, documentation development, and assisting with training and mentoring of technical staff. Additionally, the DBA may be required to perform other database or infrastructure-related activities as needed.
Required Experience:

15 years of combined experience in database administration for the following platforms:
DB2 for z/OS
SQL Server 2008R2, 2012
Oracle 10g and above
Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS application integration, performance management, and database administration.
Advanced expertise in upgrading DB2 for z/OS, catalog maintenance, and sub-system point in time recovery.
Proficiency in JCL and familiarity with the z/OS integrated platform.
In-depth knowledge of CA GEN model management, ISPF, ASG Scheduler, COBOL, and RACF.
Familiarity with CICS, IOF, Disaster Recovery requirements, and Oracle/MSSQL application integration and administration.
Solid understanding of technical infrastructure implementation planning, z/OS started task creation, IBI z/OS service support, AFOPER commands, and MSSQL tools (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS).
Working knowledge of z/OS EXITs, BJS, Windows Servers, and Azure.
