Senior Database developer

Responsibilities
·       Design, development and enhancements of data related requirements from various GCM business groups – Front Office, Margin, Settlements, Accounting and Operations
·       Develop, implement and support new features and enhancements for business teams in managing and using their data
·       Participate in all phases of database development from data-modeling to capturing, processing and creating data results as needed by business groups
·       Work with various technology teams (Architecture, infrastructure, development and support) to ensure that a reliable, scalable and cost-effective data solutions are being implemented
·       Work closely with CoreBridge and RemainCo GCM teams to meet their data-requirements
Skills:
·       10+ years’ experience working with database technologies such as Oracle, SnowFlake, SQL Server
·       Hands on database coding/implementing experience
·       Experience with Data-modeling, architecture and governance
·       Experience with large data-warehouses
·       Experience with AWS technologies such as S3, EMR, RedShift, Athena, Glue, Kinesis
·       Experience with Data Visualization tools (PowerBI, SSRS, Tableau etc.)
·       Hands-on working experience with Github, TFS, CI/CD
·        Aptitude for debugging problems in complex, unfamiliar code
·       Prior experience in building solutions for Financial Services/Derivatives lines of business
·       Strong written and oral communication skills
·       Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
