Senior DBA Engineer

Must Have Skills:
6+ years of experience as a DBA in an enterprise data center environment OR High School Diploma / GED OR a minimum of 10 years work experience as a DBA in an enterprise data center environment.
Solid understanding of relational database constructs with preference to competencies and experience with any three of the following platforms: DB2, Netezza, Postgres
Experienced understanding of data, database technology, and structured query languages.
Experience with database auditing (Audit capability for the database, setting up new users, how do you do permissions, things like that)
Demonstrated ability to build databases with proper architectural design.
Unix based environment with SQL servers. Needs to understand AIX, redhat
Nice to Have:
Experience with shell scripting, backfile scripting
Experience with Oracle, SQL Server
Practical understanding and awareness of Netezza or comparable data warehouse technology with preference to those with some experience supporting a large enterprise data warehouse in a production environment.
