Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Job Description

Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on cloud
Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
Provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code
Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded
Develop excellent quality content
Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who -

At least 3-5 years of experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure
Strong understanding of how to secure cloud environments and meet compliance requirements
Expertise using Chef for configuration management
Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform
Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on cloud
Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
Strong bias for action and ownership
Current role as a DEVOPS expert
Devops Cloud certification
Are Well-organized and detail-oriented
Take ownership to work independently with remote supervision
Can multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Are disciplined and adhere to high-quality standards
Is a strategic thinker; understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business
