Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

● Building automation to consolidate container technologies and migrate microservices

from ECS & Kubernetes to our golden platform (EKS/AKS)

● Building automation to help us migrate our monolithic Ruby on Rails application to a

containerized infrastructure built on EKS/AKS

● Participating in design/evaluation of new tools, techniques, and technologies

● Contributing to & building the architecture of our Cloud platform and its delivery

● Developing tools and software applications using Terraform, YAML, JavaScript, Ruby,

PowerShell, Bash to grow our operational stack to the next level

Requirements

● 6+ years of professional technical experience

● 4+ years of experience with scripting/programming using Java, Python, Ruby, Bash,

PowerShell, JavaScript, or equivalent

● Experience with building organizationally-scalable CI/CD pipelines in tools like GitHub

Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent

● Experience building and operating CI/CD pipeline infrastructure at scale for tools like

GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent

● Experience building developer-centric shared services platforms

● Experience onboarding development teams to Docker, kubernetes, and/or CI/CD

● Experience in Cloud Hosting with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud or equivalent

● Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible,

or equivalent

● Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS, or

equivalent

● Experience with AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, Crossplane, or equivalent

● Experience with source control using Git with a solid foundation of branch strategies

● Experience deploying and operating immutable infrastructure

● Experience with OOP, Design Principles, REST

● Experience with Unit and Integration Testing

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
