Description

Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare detailed drawings for electrical equipment and related facilities.
  • Select materials based on standards, specifications, and engineer's direction.
  • Review project drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Revise drawings in response to feedback and requirements.
  • Participate in design conferences and field trips to determine project needs.
  • Report design status to project engineer and manager.
  • Perform electrical calculations and sizing.
  • Ensure design compliance with Company specifications and regulations.
  • Assist Engineers in resolving electrical design issues.

     

Qualifications

 

  • Associates degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3-4 years of gas pipeline engineering, operations, or construction experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel; experience with Adobe/BlueBeam is a plus.
  • Knowledge of engineering codes and standards (DOT, FERC, OSHA, NNG).
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of drafting tools, procedures, and techniques.
  • Excellent PC skills, including familiarity with the Windows environment.
  • Ability to work with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to make periodic field trips as required.
