Job Description:

  • Coordinating and participating in OO software design and code reviews/inspections...Primary language utilized is C++.
  • Experience/exposure in Embedded Motion Controls and Trajectory Generation
  • Makes changes to correct errors and create extensions to existing controls software to add new features or performance improvements.
  • Designs and develops major functional or performance enhancements in existing embedded control systems.
  • Designs/develops new trajectories for multi-degree-of-freedom robotics systems.
  • Participating in the development of software requirements specifications, design documents, and software functional specifications.
  • Troubleshooting of issues to include working with hardware products in lab.
  • DSP programming controls systems a plus.
  • Modeling/development of controls systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with cubic and higher (e.g., quintic) spline motion trajectories a plus.
