The Technical - SAP Technical Analyst II (ABAP and Fiori) is a specialized role within the Information Technology department of an organization that leverages the SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP)

platform.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs to support business requirements, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Design and develop SAP Fiori applications and user interfaces using SAPUI5, JavaScript, and HTML5.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to identify technical requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to SAP systems and applications, working closely with end-users and other IT teams to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with established coding and development standards, as well as adherence to security and data protection policies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to SAP systems and applications, including technical specifications, system design documents, and user guides.
  • Participate in project planning, testing, and deployment activities to ensure successful delivery of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Stay current with emerging SAP technologies and trends, and provide guidance on potential new solutions and approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 -8 years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP programming, including custom development, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori development, including creating custom applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, and HTML5.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, data models, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting complex technical issues within SAP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
