We are looking for Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Bangalore or Gurgaon, IN.

As a Senior Engineer for Network Security, you will join the network engineering team to provide network security designs, LLDs and input into best practice.

As Senior Engineer you will be accountable for designing solutions and implementing medium complex designs often with minimum guidance of the manager.

The role holder meets business objectives, solves business problems, and furthers business success by applying industry, applications, and technical knowledge through the definition of high level/Low level solutions. In addition, he/she may work proactively with the business to define new product developments.

Your Purpose

• Assessment of business critical technologies for security vulnerabilities and improvement.
• Provide recommendations to address security vulnerabilities
• Producing Network Security designs to meet business needs and following the current standards.
• Support Network Security standards to ensure they continue to meet best practice guidelines.
• Keep up to date on Security trends and developments and identifying how they could benefit the company.
• Is result oriented and has a high degree of accountability, commitment, and responsibility.
• Working with the Security Operations team to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Providing change sign off for changes related to Network Security projects.
• Able to resolves medium network architecture/incident issues.
• Lead on multiple medium size projects and deliver in the implementation.

• Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and understanding of Security concepts.
• A passion for Security and staying abreast of new developments.
• Experience of taking a requirement through analysis, solution design, testing, deployment and hand-over to an operations team for BAU support.
• An understanding of Cybersecurity NIST and SABSA framework.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of information security in a global and similar size business.
• Detailed hands-on experience of design, configuration and management covering several of the following technical areas in a global organization.
• F5 LTM, ASM, APM.
• Checkpoint Firewalls.
• Cisco ASA Firewalls.
• Netscaler
• AAA ( Cisco ISE / MS NPS )
• VPN
