Position Summary

              

The role as Senior Financial analyst is three-fold: 

 

  1. The role is responsible for controlling the CMO inventories as well as supporting the CMO organization to ensure accurate, timely and complete financial results. This role is responsible for activities related to month end closure, budget, year- end including stock counts and audit requests
  2. The role is responsible for reconciliation of global stock, reporting and optimize the process for forecasting.
  3. Support GPS&Q Finance team in financial processes, process optimization and selected business partner tasks

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Document and complete the results for the Contracted Manufacturing Operation (CMO) and own site transactions in E1 (Work orders, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders and any other inventory transactions)
  • Support the CMO organization in making RF and analyze actual versus planned performance to achieve budgeted/forecasted goals and recommends alternate course of action to achieve the same.
  • Perform stock count lead the process (Production Sites and CMO inventories)
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly related to inventory and CMO business incl. preparations of journal entries 
  • Perform monthly Global inventory reconciliation and review process
  • Support the Rolling Forecast (RF) process for expected inventory performance
  • Assist in month-end close
  • Participates in external and internal audits
  • Drive and support business partner tasks including month end closure, reporting and forecasting
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis to support the operations 

 


 

 

 

Requirements – Mandatory

 

  • Cost Accountants with ICMAI or Chartered Accountant (inter or final) with extensive experience in Inventory and Production 
  • Min. 8+ years’ experience in Inventory Accounting and Contract Manufacturing Operations Handling
  • Familiar with production cost controlling and its impacts on inventories in a worldwide production company.
  • Experience working with accounting systems (Oracle JD Edwards a plus)
  • Strong PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint. Must be comfortable with complex, detailed spreadsheets.
  • Self-initiator, responsible, creative, and able to effectively manage stressful, time sensitive issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a global company environment
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
