Senior Financial .Net Developer/Architect

Overview

DFA has acustom developed Statewide Budget Solution that provides the following plansfor the State of Arkansas: Annual Operational Plan, Biennial Plan and BudgetManual.

The system isdeveloped in .Net along with StimulSoft Reporting Software.

This resourcewill be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing the centralinfrastructure, application instances and databases that are required tomaintain the Budget System. The scope of services will also include problemresolution, analysis and other support services at the discretion of theApplications Development Manager. 

Knowledge of state and federal laws, procurement, budget, human resources, payroll laws and processes, administrative practices and procedures, and methodologies of related business segment.

Roles and Responsibilities

·        Minimum of six (8) years of each item below:

·        Maintainand develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts.

·        Maintaincomplicated applications supported by Applications Development: Budget System.

·        Assiststate employees with .Net solutions and mentors on best practices

·        Minimum of six (6) years of SQL Serverinstallation, maintenance, and optimization experience

·        Good knowledge ofMSDTC

·        Experience withdesign and maintenance of TDE Encryption

·        Experience usingintegration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL

·        Experiencedeveloping window services

·        Experiencedeveloping web services

·        Experiencedesigning and testing disaster recovery plans

·        Ability to writeand review VB.Net code

·        Strong oral andwritten communication skills

·         Experience developing detailed technicalinfrastructure diagrams and specifications

·         Education requirement of a BS degree inComputer Science, Information Technology or other equivalent education.
